One Room Challenge Spring 2022: Week 3, Tile Search, Prep & Install

One Room Challenge week 3! We’re sharing our tile search, plus the start of the tile install. Bathroom remodel is happening slowly, but surely, friends.

Tile Selection:
There are SO many great tiles out there. I was initially drawn to some of the more colorful tiles with fun patterns, but ultimately went for some less loud selections as we did select a more busy wallpaper for the space. Thank goodness I had Rosie there with me to lead me in the right direction! And the local Daltile store is the best and my fave place in town (Reno/Tahoe) for the most amazing tile selection.

Flooring tile install starts! Tessie watches on as Mike starts installing the tile floor. She loves being part of the action, so we had to put up a baby gate to block her from entering.
